Anterior Shoulder and Posterior Shoulder
At Triune, massage of the anterior shoulder is performed for the following conditions: bursitis, tendonitis, arthritis, muscle spasm, myofascial adhesions, frozen shoulder, impingement syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, restricted range of motion, chronic pain, firbromyalgia and other tyes of soft tissue injuries that impede pain free usage of the upper extremity. Target muscles of shoulder treatment may include, but are not limited to trapezius, rhomboid, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, teres major, teres minor, latissimus dorsi, levator scapula,deltoids, coracobrachialis, pectoralis major and minor, subclavius, serratus anterior, biceps brachii, and triceps brachii. By improving oxygenated blood to any muscular region, function of that region is more likely to be enhanced leading to improved optimal function of the target tissue. |

Massage of the hand is performed for but not limited to the following conditions: finger jams and sprains, carpal tunnel syndrome, sports related injuries, Dequervains Tenosynovitis, impingement syndrome, Pronator teres syndrome, bursitis, tendonitis, circulatory conditions such as raynauds syndrome and diabetes, degenerative and rheumatoid arthritic changes, and RSD. Target muscles of hand, wrist and arm may include: Brachioradialis, Extensor and flexor Carpi musculature, Extensor and Felxor digitorum, supinator, pollicis, pronator teres and quadratus, interosseuos muscles. Sinus, Head and Neck
Massage of the sinuses, head and neck is performed but not limited to the following conditions: Headache Origins-tension, cervicogenic, cluster, migraine, sinus, hormone, rebound, organic. Neck Origins-whiplash, stenosis, disk bulge and herniation, wry neck, torticollis, arthritis, subluxation, muscle spasm, strains and sprains Target muscles of these regions are: Procerus, frontalis, Corrugator, temporalis, occipitalis, Galea, aponeurotica, orbitals, facila muscles, platysma, sternocleidmastoid, trapezius, splenius capitus, and cervicis, masseter, scalenes, longissimus, semispinalis and spinalis muscles. Additionally, reducing myofascial adhesions between layers of muscle reduces the risk of postural distortions and premature degenerative change. |
